When uploading a video on Ventuno, there are a few things to check if it's taking longer than usual.

1. Check Internet Speed: How quickly you can upload videos to Ventuno is determined by your upload speed.

Now, say your upload speed is 10 Mbps, and your video file size is 1GB. It will take you around 15 minutes to upload the video.

💡 Pro tip: While uploading videos, you can open a new browser tab to work on other aspects of your Ventuno account, creating shows and playlists. You don't have to stay on the upload tab as long as your tab is open. You can pin the tab to make sure you don’t close it by mistake.

2. Video Encoding: Once the video is uploaded, it is encoded to add your watermark and make sure your video is played without latency on different devices.

The number indicated in the Inprogress Video Tab denotes the number of videos that are being encoded currently

Once the video is encoded, it will appear in your video library.

3. Recommended file formats

You can upload videos in the following formats mp4, Flv, Avi, MOV, MPEG, mpg, m4a, WAV, mp3

Say you are trying to upload a video in WMV format, or any other format which is not in the above list, your video will not be uploaded.

You can convert the video file to a supported format and upload it.

4. Video file size

We do not currently support uploading videos larger than 2GB as a single file.
