Geo-Targeting

You might have restrictions in streaming your content in particular countries. You can select/ deselect the countries where you don’t want your content to be available. You can geo-target multiple countries at once. You can geo-target videos, shows, and playlists.

Steps for Geo-Targeting a Video:

1. From the Content section of the left menu select Organize > Video/Audio Library.

2. Select Manage Video.

3. On the Manage video page scroll down to Geo-Targeting. If you want your content to be available in all countries, select All. If you want the content to be available in particular countries, choose the countries under this section.


4. Finally, select Save Changes to complete the geo-targeting process.

Steps for Geo-Targeting a Playlist:

1. From the Content section of the left menu select Organize > Playlist.

2. Choose the playlist you want to edit and click Edit.

3. On the Edit playlist page scroll down to Geo-Targeting. If you want your content to be available in all countries, select All. If you want the content to be available in particular countries, choose the countries under this section.


4. Finally, select Save Changes to complete the geo-targeting process.

Steps for Geo-Targeting a Show:

1. From the Content section of the left menu select Organize > Manage Shows.

2. Choose the show you want to edit and click Edit Show.

3. On the Manage Show page scroll down to Geo-Targeting. If you want your content to be available in all countries, select All. If you want the content to be available in particular countries, choose the countries under this section.

4. Finally, click on Save to complete the geo-targeting process.

💡 Pro tip:

If you want to restrict content distribution to a location you can check the Select All option and then uncheck the country where you like to restrict.

For example, if your distribution rights restrict you from distributing the video in Australia then you can check Select All and then Uncheck Australia
