Ads are a fantastic way to promote your own content or merchandise. In a few simple steps, you can upload your ad assets and choose whether they'll play before, during, or after your content. Ready to amp up your viewer's experience? Let's get started!

Prerequisites

✅Have your video ad asset in mp4 format

✅Create an RO (Release Order) for your campaign

Uploading a video ad asset

  • Navigate to the Monetization section in the left menu, then choose Manage Monetization > AVOD (Video Ads) > Manage Assets

  • Click on the Create New button on the right

  • Upload your video ad from your file system or share an externally hosted mp4 video

  • Type in the name and description and click on the Save Asset button

Creating a video ad campaign

  • Navigate to the Monetization section in the left menu, then choose Manage Monetization > AVOD (Video Ads) > Manage Campaign.

  • To create a new campaign, click on the Add New Campaign button on the right side of the screen.

  • Choose the Ad type, selecting from Pre-roll, Mid-roll, or Post-roll based on your needs.
💡 You can also Copy as option below to use the same ad as pre, mid and post rolls

  • Provide a name for the campaign and select the corresponding Release Order (RO) under Campaign RO.

  • If you wish to redirect users to a new URL upon clicking the ad, input the URL in Click-Through URL.

  • In Campaign Content-Type, decide whether the ad should run on On-demand content, live stream content, or both.
⚠️ Note: Live streams support only pre-roll ads, as they do not have a fixed duration

  • Targeting Information is used for setting the targeting criteria for the ad

    • Geo-Target ads by countries (eg: US, UK, Canada)

    • Category - Target ads by categories (eg: News, Entertainment)

    • Video Tags - Target ads by specific tags (eg: coconut, local news). All videos that have these tags will run the ad

  • Click Confirm to complete the process.

  • On the next page click Save Campaign to save the campaign. Click Edit Campaign to edit the campaign details.

  • You can also Pause/Start your campaign from this page.
