It's frustrating when customers add your content access package to their cart but then leave without buying. But there's good news! There's a straightforward way to decrease cart abandonment and boost your revenue.

With the Subscription Abandoned automation, you can send an email to users who started but didn't complete their purchase. This automation can be applied to both subscriptions and TVOD bundles. Here's how you can set it up:

Step 1: Creating Abandonment Coupons

  • From the Monetization section of the left menu, select Manage Monetization and then Coupons.

  • Select Manage Abandoned Coupons.

  • Select Create Abandonment Coupon

  • Select a plan and fill in the coupon details.

  • Hit the Submit button

Step 2: Setting Up Email Triggers

  • From the Marketing section of the left menu, select Manage Email Triggers

  • Click the Edit button under the triggers

    • Abandonment Initial

    • Abandonment Follow-Up -1

    • Abandonment Follow-Up - 2

  • Edit the email content and subject

  • Set the Schedule Interval

  • Hit the Submit button
