Google Analytics is a free web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic.

It allows you to analyze user behavior and engagement, track marketing campaigns, and gain insights into how users interact with your website.

With Google Analytics, users can see how many visitors your website receives, where those visitors come from, how long they stay on the site, which pages they visit, and much more. The data collected by Google Analytics can be used to optimize website performance and improve the user experience.

Analyzing traffic sources

Google Analytics allows you to track where your traffic is coming from, whether it be from organic search, social media, paid advertising, or other sources. This information can be used to optimize marketing efforts and improve user engagement.

Tracking user behavior

Google Analytics provides detailed information about user behavior on your website, such as the pages they visit, how long they spend on each page, and how they interact with the site. This information can be used to identify areas of the site that need improvement and to optimize the user experience.

Measuring site performance

Google Analytics allows you to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as bounce rate, average session duration, and conversion rate. This information can be used to monitor the overall health of the site and identify areas for improvement.

Goal tracking

Google Analytics allows website owners to set up and track goals, such as completing a purchase or filling out a contact form. This information can be used to optimize the user journey and increase conversions.

Reporting

Google Analytics provides a variety of reports that can be used to track website performance over time and identify trends. These reports can be customized to meet the specific needs of the website owner and can be used to inform business decisions.
