What is a menu?
A menu contains links to shows, videos, and other content so that your visitors can easily navigate around your site.
Eyetracking research shows that people scan webpages in an F pattern.
A good balance between the top navigation menu and left navigation menu could make it easier for your users to scan through your content
Left navigation facilitates vertical scanning, which improves speed and allows users to see numerous links at once.
At the same time, you can use the top navigation (header) to give minimal guidance when the side menu is collapsed
How to set up the Left menu
From the Endpoints section of the left menu, select Responsive Website and then select Website
Head to the Sidemenu tab.
To add an element to the menu, Type in the name of the menu title and map to the respective page. Click on the Add button
💡 You can also map to any URL (even external) by pasting the URL.To edit an existing menu item, click on the edit button to the right of the item (under the Side Menu Links section), you will notice that the item details will be shown in the Add/Edit Item section. Now edit the title or map page and click on the Update button
Hit the Save button once you have added or edited all the menu items
You can also change the menu order by dragging and dropping them, or move them as sub-menu items by changing their indentation.
Creating a submenu
In the left menu shared above, you can see that the BROWSE option has 4 menu items within it.
To create a submenu, all you have to do is indent the item to the right by a step.
⚠️ Note: In this case, Browse does not have a page associated, they just act as a title for the submenu.
