What is ads.txt?

Ads.txt is an initiative of the IAB Tech Lab with the goal of combatting ad fraud, particularly domain spoofing and illicit inventory arbitrage.

What is apps-ads.txt?
The issue with ads.txt in mobile apps is that, unlike on the web, there is no simple way to store the list of permitted domain sellers (ads.txt) - there really is no web domain where the file can be kept. So IAB Tech Lab envisioned apps-ads.txt

Did you know that: Although ads.txt revolves around advertising, the ads part is actually an acronym that stands for Authorized Digital Sellers.

How to upload ads.txt and apps-ads.txt through our platform?

  • From the Endpoints section of the left menu, select Responsive Website> Website.

  • Click Basic Info > Asset Details > Ads file & Apps ads file

  • Create a notepad file and add the text shared by the advertiser.

  • If you have more than one advertiser, you can add one advertiser’s ad in one line and the other advertiser in the next line, and so on.
